I can't say that I wasn't beside myself with joy when I was recently contacted by ELLE Magazine SA, informing me that they have chosen my Instagram account as one of their weekly INSTA-CRUSH features. ELLE Magazine SA! The same magazine that I used to beg my mom to buy me every month as a teenage girl, and would pour over for hours, drooling over the gorgeous fashion and latest beauty products. They like my Instagram account!? Am I dreaming?
I really thought I was, so I didn't tell anyone about it, except The Husband and a couple of close friends. It just seemed too good to be true. But sure enough, last week my feature was published on their website as that week's INSTA-CRUSH.
Maybe to some people it wouldn't be such a big deal, but I'm pretty excited about it and extremely grateful for the opportunity. Posting my photographs on Instagram has become one of my favorite hobbies, and it feels good to know that others enjoy it, too.
I thought I'd share this delightful news with you, and also take the time to thank each of you who take the time to support and encourage me. I truly appreciate it!
