Day 44 - A picture of someone you're told you look alike

To be honest, I don't think anyone has ever told me I look like someone else. I'll take that as a compliment? But I remember this website I once stumbled on a while back, where you upload a pic of your face, and it will find a celebrity that you look alike.

Well, I uploaded an older photo of myself with blonde hair, as my darker hair has faded back to blonde again. And.... ta dah! The result was that I look 73% like Jessica Alba (say what!?) and 71% like Naomi Watts. Well, there you go.

I can't say that I agree with the Jessica Alba look alike, maybe just our eyebrows or dark eyes? Naomi Watts is a little more believable.

The name of the website is Picadil, and all you have to do is upload a close up photo of your face, and it will generate your lookalikes. If you decide to check it out, please post your results here, and whether you agree with it.

  1. Man this site is weird. I don't look like Clint Eastwood do I? And I only look like men apparently so that's awesome. -_-

  2. I think you look kind of like Ivanka Trump.

  3. I sort of see a similar face shape with Jessica Alba. The problem with software like Picadil is that it focuses on surface area. So THAT picture of Jessica Alba probably matched your hair. It doesn't recognize the things that actually make us distinct -- eye shape, nose, the way we move our mouths.

I downloaded an iPhone app that does a face comparison with Korean celebrities. I can't read any of it, other than the gender slider. I am always at least 80% male, with all male matches. Fun for the whole family.

  4. I do see the resemblance! Came across your blog from 20sb :)

    xo Shane

  5. I like Jessica Alba...she is pretty

  6. I always enjoyed comments that I'm unique, noone ever compared me to anyone. Tho my mother in law once said that I remind her of Julia Roberts when I smile and laugh hehehe no idea where did that come from.
