Is it? Yes, it is! The end of the month is here; and that means Favorites time! This past month has been one of the most exciting times in my life. Not only did we take an unforgettable trip to Paris, we also got engaged. Of course, my stunning engagement ring is my ultimate favorite from the past month, and it'll remain my favorite for the rest of my life, I'm sure!
Here are some of the other things I've loved this past month:
1. MAC lipstick in "Crosswires"
MAC Cremesheen "Crosswires" (US$15) |
One of my favorite YouTube beauty gurus, Essiebutton, raves about this lipstick and it looks absolutely stunning on her. I dragged The Fiancé into the MAC store on Champs-Elysees in Paris and I only had to take one look at it to know that I wanted to own it. It's a lovely understated pinkish-red shade, or reddish-pink(?), that will match most skin tones. Also, MAC lipsticks, where have you been all my life!? Awesome staying power, no weird smell, amazing color selection. My new favorite lipsticks!
2. Jo Malone "Nectarine Blossom & Honey" Cologne
Jo Malone "Nectarine Blossom & Honey" cologne (US$60) |
I've been loving the Jo Malone "Osmanthus Blossom" cologne for the past couple of months and wanted to get another cologne from this brand. I gave most of them a whiff at the store, and finally decided on the "Nectarine Blossom & Honey" one. I adore it!
3. Repetto "Ballerine Cendrillon" flats
Repetto "Ballerina Cendrillon" (US$245) |
While in Paris, I had to visit the Repetto flagship store. Of course, I couldn't walk out of there without a pair of these amazing flats. I got the Ballerine Cendrillon in black, as I know I'll get lots of wear out of them, and they are by far the most comfortable pair of ballet flats I've ever owned!
4. Diptyque "Tubéreuse" candle
Diptyque "Tubereuse" candle (US$60) |
Oh, this candle is heavenly! I haven't even burned it, but it's on my computer desk at home and it smells amazing. This has been a favorite of mine for a long time, but it was extra special to buy it from the original Diptyque store at 34 Boulevard Saint Germain in Paris. Don't even get me started on this store; I could live in it. A must-visit if you are a candle-lover and ever find yourself in Paris.
5. Kérastase Masquintense
Kérastase Masquintense (US$32) |
Yes, I know this one has featured as a favorite before, but it's just that great! I tried some other hair products for the past two months to give my hair a break from the range I usually use. After that, I only had to use Masquintense once to remember why it was my absolute favorite conditioning treatment. If you have color treated and damaged hair like I do, look no further for a product to revive your lifeless hair. This is it!
6. Instagram

Man, I just love this app! I'm sure most of you know/use Instagram. I post anything from food, outfits, products I love, nature, travels and much more. Lately, I've been posting mostly pictures from our trip to Paris, as I'll never seem to get over it... Are you an Instagram junkie like myself? Then please leave your Instagram name in the comments or send it to my email, as I'd love to follow some new people.
I'd love to hear about your July favorites, so feel free to share them with us!
repetto flats are amazing and so worth the price! they're comfy and last for years.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! I'm very happy with my purchase. They are unfortunately insanely overpriced here in Taiwan, so I'll have to wait a bit before buying another pair. What color do you have?
DeleteI've never heard of Repetto flats, I'll check them out for sure! Diptyque candles are such a guilty pleasure, but worth every penny. Have you tried any of their perfumes?
