Seriously though, where did November go!? It feels like I had just posted my October Favorites, blinked and suddenly it's already time to eat turkey and pumpkin pie. Looking back at my calendar, I assume this month flew by because I was so busy with work and social events and planning our wedding.
Here are some things I've been loving this past month:
1. DIPTYQUE Pine Bark candle

The other day, as my friend and I were hanging out in my living room, she suddenly got quiet, looked around the room and said: "Girl, now I know what to get you for presents. Candles!". Yes, I love candles and have a lot around the house, and you can't go wrong with buying me one. This past month, I've been majorly obsessed with one of Diptyque's Holiday 2013 candles, Pine Bark. "A clean, woody, smoky fragrance that combines pine and cedar with hinoki, the Japanese cypress." It smells like Christmas! You know, if Christmas had a scent...
2. ESSIE Angora Cardi

This color has been on my nails for most of November. I love this dusty rose shade and find it perfect for fall.
3. BATH & BODY WORKS Leaves wallflower fragrance bulb
Bath & Body Works Leaves |
Unfortunately we don't have Bath & Body Works here in Taiwan, but my friend was so nice to get me a bunch of wallflower fragrance bulbs on her trip to the States recently. (I already got a plug earlier this year when The Fiancé went to the States). These bulbs will last for up to 6 weeks, and make our home smell so good! I'm currently loving the Leaves one, which is very appropriate for this time of the year.
4. MORROCANOIL Hair Treatment
Morrocanoil Hair Treatment |
I think this product has been in my favorites before, but I recently decided to take a break from the Kerastase Elixir Ultime that I've been using for a while, and bought this oil again. Not only does this product smell amazing, I love how it makes my hair feel. Sometimes I find the Kerastase Elixir Ultime weighs my hair down a bit, but the Moroccanoil one doesn't do that at all. I know that it contains silicone, but it seems to work well on my hair type (highlighted and dry).
5. LUSH Ponche Shower Gel
LUSH Ponche Shower Gel |
The Fiancé and I recently ran out of our beloved LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel so we decided to pick up Ponche. I've had a mini one of these before, but I've only seen the full size recently. We love this! It's described as "bright, boozy, fruity and uplifting" on their website, and that's exactly what it is!
So those are some of my favorite things from November. What are yours?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I loooove diptyque candles, mostly because they are natural! At least so they say...
