Product Review: YES TO Natural Skin and Hair Care

For a while now, I've been totally obsessed with only using organic and natural products. It's hard sometimes, as I still have many not-so-organic products that's just so hard to give up. Also, have you noticed how expensive some of these organic and natural products are!?

I poked around online and found that many people recommended the Yes To range as a more affordable option for natural skin and hair care products. I've actually only tried one of their products, the Yes To Tomatoes Skin Clearing Facial Mask, which I really liked. I don't know why I never thought to give some of the other products a go. Well, until now...

I'm so happy that feelunique.com carries this range, as it's one of my absolute favorite online beauty, body and hair care stores. An online store that offers free, fast international shipping is my kinda hangout. I've ordered from them many times, and it seems like they always have some kind of coupon discount or special promotion going on. Loves!

Anyway, enough about feelunique.com's awesomeness. Let's take a look at the Yes To products I've been using these past couple of weeks.

Now that I'm approaching the dirty thirties, I've also been very into proper night creams, serums and repair creams. I decided to give this one a go. They also have the Yes To Blueberries Age Refresh Anti-wrinkle Intensive Repair Serum available, but I was in the market for a new night cream anyway.

I like the packaging and that it has a pump. (Although, be careful when pumping, more product comes out than you actually need...) The cream smells good, but not overpowering, and when applying the cream, it will actually be white at first before it's absorbed into the skin.

After using this product every night for 2 weeks, I can't really say that I notice a difference in my skin yet. It's a nice night cream that didn't break me out and didn't irritate my very sensitive skin. I'll keep using it until it's finished, but it didn't blow my hair back and I don't consider it a "miracle cream". I probably won't repurchase this one.

Yes To Tomatoes Purifying Shower Gel

This one was just for a little extra pampering, not that I need another shower gel right now. It's smells very good; clean and fresh and natural (obviously, I'm not very good at describing scents...) and it lathers up quite nicely. It doesn't have a color but seems to be a faded red/pink color in the bottle.

I've used this shower gel about 5 times in the past two weeks, and even though I really like it, I didn't think "damn, this is awesome!" when I used it. Again, it didn't irritate my skin and it smells nice, so I'll keep using it until it's finished. I probably won't repurchase it though.

3. Yes To Carrots Leave in Conditioner

With my damaged, highlighted hair, I'm always on the hunt for good conditioners. I'm usually not a big fan of leave-in conditioners, as I don't like having that much product in my hair (which causes build-up and makes my hair lifeless and weighed-down) but I decided to give this one a fair chance.

I've only used it twice; the first time I actually left it in my hair without washing out, but it did weighed my hair down as expected. The second time I washed it out after 5 minutes, and my hair was actually really soft and bouncy after it dried. So yeah, definitely not going to leave it in, but I'll keep using it by just rinsing it after applying.

4. Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Natural Glow Facial Towelettes

I've read many great reviews on these, so I had to include it in my purchase. I've used it every time before washing my face, and it does remove most of my makeup. Although, it doesn't remove eye-makeup completely.

I love that this product did not irritate my skin, as many makeup remover towelettes tend to burn my face and leave it red and burning. It's cooling and smells fresh and I definitely give it a thumbs up! I'll repurchase this for sure.

5. Yes To Carrots C Me Smile Lip Butters in "Berry" and "Melon"

What's a little feelunique.com haul without getting some new lip balms? I love these and they are so moisturizing and smooth. They also smell fruity and delicious! I wouldn't call them a "lip butter", but they are definitely better than most other lip balms in their price range. And they are 95% natural!

6. Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin Daily Clarifying Cleanser

I actually received this as a complimentary product because my feelunique.com purchase was more than
£25 (about $40). Score! I had just finished my regular face wash, so this came at a perfect time. The product color is clear and very smooth and smells clean and fresh. I've been using it every day for two weeks, and I must say that it has indeed cleared my skin and is very soothing and gentle.

This has been one of the few facial cleansers that have not irritated my sensitive skin, and I appreciate that. I like that it's gentle and smells clean. I'll repurchase this in the future.

In general, I'm very impressed with the Yes To products that I tried. I'm thankful that there is this affordable line of organic and natural products out there that does a great job, especially on sensitive skin. I think the packaging is very festive (so colorful!) and all of the products smell really good.

I would definitely recommend trying their products if you have sensitive skin like me, or if you want alternative, affordable options for natural and organic skin and hair care products.

Have you ever tried any of the Yes To products? What was your experience? Also, are there any other affordable options for natural or organic products you would recommend?
