After a loooong humid summer in Taiwan, it truly excites me that the temperature is starting to drop. The prospect of cold days being cooped up in the apartment looms on the horizon, and dreams of lazy days in cozy sweaters and leggings are becoming a reality.
Recently I've caught myself, more than once, checking out sweaters online. I always do that this time of year. Can I ever have enough knitwear? Nope! I guess I won't stop until I have them all. *evil laughter*
I decided to dedicate an entire post to these woolly wonders. I mean, they totally deserve their own post, am I right? Here are some of my favorites for Fall and Winter:
The Merino Wool Sweater from aritzia.com
If you wear the Montpellier sweater, do you really need to wear anything else? *wink wink* I love the over-sized, draped look of this one!
The Loose-Fitting Knitted Cardigan from rosegal.com
Obviously I have a thing for neutral sweaters! I guess I like sticking to the basics so I can wear them year after year. This sweater has a stand up collar, which gives it a little extra sumthin' sumthin'. Check it out on rosegal.com and use the code: May49rose to get 8% off your order.
The Chunky Mohair Sweater from asos.com
This sweater is so unbelievably soft and cozy and will become a staple in my closet this season. And you can never have to many gray sweaters, right?
The Over-sized Cardigan from rosegal.com
I can just imagine being wrapped up in this snugly over-sized cardigan on a cold day. It's also perfect for layering! Check it out on rosegal.com and use the code: May49rose to get 8% off your order.
The White Stitch Detail Sweater from asos.com
As someone obsessed with wearing white with blue jeans, this sweater is ideal! I was so impressed with the quality of this sweater when I received it. This will surely be one of my most worn items in the next few months. Check it out on asos.com (currently there's a 25% off discount on selected winter winners)
The Scoop Neck Sweater from rosegal.com
This sweater is Fall/Winter perfection! I love that it's long, so it covers your bum (and possible an unsightly camel toe if you've opted for leggings...) Find it on rosegal.com and use the code: May49rose to get 8% off your order.
The Cashmere Sweater from nordstrom.com
What is a true sweater collection without a signature cashmere find. I love this one from Equipment, currently at nordstrom.com. This sweater is also great for layering under coats and scarves.
The Long-Line Cardigan from rosegal.com
This color is so gorgeous for Fall, and this long-line cardigan would look so cute with skinny jeans. Find it on rosegal.com and use the code: May49rose to get 8% off your order.
The Chunky Turtleneck Sweater from asos.com
Another chunky sweater? I just like the feeling of being all bundled up like that. This one is also available in a mustard color. Check it out on asos.com, and it's also marked down 25% right now.
