This picture absolutely melts my heart. How can it not? There's no way you can look at this teddy bear and not make one of those aaaaaw or ooooooh sounds out loud. It's not a secret that I love dogs. And especially lately, I've been totally obsessed with the Goldendoodle and Labradoodle breeds. I mean, just look at this one in the picture! Aaaaaaw!
I often joke that I love dogs more than I love most people. Yeah I know what you're thinking; at least a person won't drool on your favorite clothes. Which is true of course, unless you count those times that you are on the subway sitting next to a person, whom had just finished a 12 hour shift at work, taking a nap on your shoulder and unable to control their saliva. (This has actually happened to me, twice. True story.)
Luckily, The Boyfriend is a fellow dog lover, so we sidestepped the "cat or dog?" fight in the future. But... he really wants a Great Dane, and even though I love all dogs, I'm not sure if it's even legal to have a small horse in an apartment here in Taiwan.
That's why I hope I can convince him that an oh-so-cute-cuddly-teddy-bear-of-a-dog would be the best option for us. Come on, just look at that face. Aaaaaaw!
I feel that exact way, actually - I often like dogs more than most people.
