December Favorites 2012

I almost forgot about my monthly favorites post. Seeing as I had focused mostly on clothing favorites last month, I decided I'd share my most loved beauty and body products from the past month. My skin gets really dry during the winter and so I make sure to exfoliate often and moisturize daily during the colder months. Here are the products that's been keeping my skin hydrated and healthy this past month.

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream

I've wanted to try some of the products from the Olay Regenerist line for a while now, and when I ran out of face cream I did some research and decided to try the Micro-Sculpting Cream. I've been really impressed with this cream, as it's very hydrating for dry, winter skin, and even though I have fairly sensitive skin, I haven't had any problems with breakouts or irritation. It feels very luxurious and smells amazing. The only con about this product is that it doesn't have an SPF, so I would recommend it as a night cream.

NUXE Reve de Miel Lip Balm

I've heard so many beauty insiders rave about this lip balm from NUXE, so I just had to try it for myself. I definitely see what the fuss is about. This Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm is soft, smooth and very hydrating. When applying this, I don't have to reapply every ten minutes. It also has a very interesting smell, but in a good way. I know it's a little on the expensive side for a lip balm, but if you're a fanatic like me, I know you'll easily part with the money to get the perfect lip balm. This one is definitely in my top 3 now.

LUSH Limited Edition Snow Fairy Shower Gel

For me, the Holiday season equals LUSH season. I can't have enough good-smelling products in my shower and bath. Maybe I went a little overboard, but this past month I got three shower gels from LUSH; Snow Fairy, Ponche and The Olive Branch. Even though I love all three, Snow Fairy has been my favorite. It smells like yummy candy and bubble gum. The Boyfriend has basically claimed The Olive Branch, which smells better on him anyway.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

Continuing with my love of Soap & Glory products; this past month I have been loving The Righteous Body Butter. At first, the smell is very sweet and overpowering, but it fades after a few minutes, and you're left with moisturized and glowing skin. I probably wouldn't use this one in the summer, as it's very thick and hydrating, but it's perfect for winter.

Yes to Tomatoes Skin Clearing Facial Mask

I haven't seen the Yes To line of products in Taiwan yet, and have been dying to try it. I was intrigued by this brand, as they offer all-natural products, which I love. This past month, I ordered the Yes To Tomatoes Clear Skin face mask from Feelunique.com and have been using it two or three times a week. I can't even explain how good it smells, I literally want to eat it. It leaves my skin very smooth and doesn't irritate it at all. I'm excited to try more of the Yes To products in the near future.

Crabtree & Evelyn Lily Ultra Moisturizing Hand Therapy

I'm not a big hand lotion type of person, but my friend gave me this Lily Ultra-Moisturizing Hand Therapy from Crabtree & Evelyn for Christmas, and I haven't stopped applying it since. It really is ultra-moisturizing and smells fantastic. I just hope hand lotion isn't the same as lip balm, in the sense that when you use it the first time, you'll have to use it for the rest of your life. I really don't want to get addicted to it. I mean, I already have to deal with the lip balm addiction.

What's been your favorites for the month of December?
